The next broadcast of BNN/Nederland 3's game show "Ranking the Stars" on August 11th features a funny revelation: Patty Brard had an affair with Dutch actor Tygo Gernandt. But the diva refused to tell when and where it happened.

Pat's column about the Canal Parade, Cornald Maas and homophobia in Russia

Patty Brard's latest column in Weekend Magazine is about the Canal Parade (where her former Luv' colleague José Hoebee had a good time). The diva criticized TV personality Cornald Maas who covered Amsterdam Gay Pride for AVRO channel. Maas presented the gay festivities with a pink microphone and a pink headphone. "How can you represent something serious for gay emancipation? I'm sure Mr Putin laughed at it," she wrote. Patty was also shocked by homophobia in Russia.

Patty in Saint-Tropez

Patty Brard spent her last weekend in Saint-Tropez to celebrate Jan des Bouvrie's birthday with her fiancé Antoine van de Vijver and her friend Gerard Joling. She stayed at the luxury hotel "Villa Marie" in Ramatuelle. The diva posted a couple of pictures on Facebook and SOL United:

Ranking the Stars: viewing figures

BNN/Nederland 3's panel game show "Ranking the Stars" (hosted by Paul de Leeuw and featuring Patty Brard as a candidate) attracted 424.000 viewers (overall market share: 8.7%) on August 4th.

José @ Amsterdam Gay Pride

José Hoebee took part in the Gay Pride festivities in Amsterdam on August 3rd. She attented the Canal Parade on the OUT TV boat with her friend Viola Holt. The singer wrote on Facebook: "It was the third time that I enjoyed this party on a boat but this time was very special. So many kind reactions from the quay. I want to thank everybody. I had a good feeling. I had a lot of fun and I hope to do it again next year."

Patty understands STIVA

Yesterday evening as Patty Brard appeared on "Shownieuws", the diva said that she understood STIVA, a Dutch anti-alcohol organization which worried about RTL 5's new reality program "Het Wilde Oosten" (the Wild East). Last year STIVA was in touch with RTL about drinking in TV series. The network promised that efforts would be made to show less alcohol on the small screen. Patty thinks that RTL 5 should pay more attention to alcohol issues. "They just started to change the image of the channel because in the past they used to show people who went out boozing," she said.

Diva's + Shownieuws : viewing figures

The Divas in 2011

Yesterday's rerun of the third episode of "Diva's Draaien Door" (RTL 4's reality show featuring Patty Brard, Patricia Paay and Tatjana Simic) attracted 292.000 viewers (overall market share: 5.3%). Miss Brard also appeared on "Shownieuws" (SBS 6's entertainment news program) which drew 455.000 viewers (overall market share: 12%).
