Angelina Jolie is putting to rest rumors that she and Brad Pitt secretly got married.

The movie star sparked buzz that the couple had covertly wed when she appeared in Africa for a humanitarian visit wearing a simple gold band instead of her diamond engagement ring.

However, Jolie squashed those reports when she returned to Los Angeles on Wednesday.
TMZ photographers asked the actress point blank, “Is that a wedding ring?” to which she replied, “It’s not.”

Jolie spent four days meeting with victims of sexual violence at a rescue camp in the Congo.
