The Best of Luv': out NOW!!!

The German subsidiary of Polydor/Universal Strategic Marketing has released "The Best of Luv". The CD is available in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and can be ordered at amazon.de. Between 1978 and 1980, the ladies were very popular in Goethe's country where they scored eight hits (including the #1 single "You're the Greatest Lover" as well as the Top 10 singles "Trojan Horse" and "Casanova"). They often performed on iconic TV shows such as "Musikladen" and "Disco".

"The Best of Luv" features all the singles of the trio as well as B-sides and album tracks. The 20 songs of the anthology have been digitally remastered. In November, I wrote an article about this special release (see news posted on November 16th, 2013).

New Luv' compilation due for release on January 14. 2014

Universal Music Germany will release a Luv' compilation entitled "The Best of Luv" on January 14, 2014. The anthology will be available in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. It can be pre-ordered at Amazon.de. Goethe's country was the Promised Land for the ladies in the late 1970s. Besides the classic hits (You're the Greatest Lover, Trojan Horse, Casanova, Ooh Yes I Do...), the CD includes album tracks. Peter Boonstra (of Luv's Official Fan Club) revealed the track listing on Facebook:
