Patty on "GI:EL" and "Evers Staat Op"

Patty Brard was interviewed by Giel Beelen on his 3FM program "GI:EL" on December 12th. The diva talked about the feud between Gordon and Connie Breukhoven. She explained why she could not sing at RTL 4's benefit concert (see news posted on December 10th, 2013). The former Luv' singer wasn't given the opportunity to rehearse and thus didn't want to be part of the show. Patty also mentioned her special interview with Ruud Schepers, the 24-year-old man whose kiss with the Mayor of Maastricht Onno Hoes caused sensation in the Netherlands. Patty's phone interview on Coel & Sander show

Patty Brard has been interviewed this afternoon on "Coel en Sander show" on BNN/3FM. She has talked about her presentation of "Koffietijd" (see news posted yesterday) and Patricia Paay's biography which includes revelations about La Paay's sex life (see news posted on May 4th 2013). "Lust, Liefde Of Laten Lopen": viewing figures / Patty's disapproval of the program's title

The Endemol program "Lust, Liefde Of Laten Lopen" (hosted by Patty Brard) premiered yesterday evening on RTL 5. It drew 280.000 viewers (overall market share: 4.6%). 6.2% of the 20-34 age group (target audience) watched it.

Patty promoted her latest TV project in the media (see news posted on May 5th and 6th 2013). She was interviewed yesterday afternoon on the Radio 538 show "Ruuddewild.nl". Click here to listen to her radio interview.

The TV personality expressed her disapproval of the Dutch title of the program (which is based on a British format "Snog Marry Avoid?"). "I did not choose it. Especially "laten lopen" (which means "let go" in Dutch)...It's alliterative... There are to many L's,” she said. When asked why the reality show was not called "Patty's Make Under", she answered: "I don't know actually".

Patty Brard: "Vliegende Hollanders is wrongly edited"

Patty Brard was interviewed by Mathijs van Nieuwkerk on VARA/Nederland 3's talkshow "De Wereld Draait Door" on March 1st to discuss "Vliegende Hollanders: Sterren van de Schans" (in which she appears as a member of the jury). Patty admitted that the second episode of SBS 6 ski jumping competition was edited differently than the first one. But it was too late: the TV show lost almost half of its audience and only drew 601.000 viewers (market share: 8.5%) three days ago. Miss Brard told Van Nieuwkerk: "The problem is that it's edited like a studio program whereas it's supposed to be an outdoors show. I was promised that the second episode would be better in terms of editing. Many things happen after the jump: how people are being taken care of or how they interact". After the success of "Sterren Springen" (aka "Celebrity Splash") which was adapted in many countries, SBS 6 expected "Vliegende Hollanders" to be a hit.
